Eucharistic Ministers assist the Pastors by serving communion to the homebound several times a year. The next scheduled date for home communions is November 30th, the first Sunday in Advent. Roy Hubbard has been representing Aldersgate and Outreach Ministry at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and assisted in the purchase of a defibrillator to be used at the Soup Kitchen. The Providers Sunday School Class sponsored $1,000 toward the cost of the unit and other churches contributed as well.

Suggested donations to The WELL for the month of April are Personal Care Items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, skin care, etc.). Please remember that these are only suggestions. Other items to stock the food shelves, and items for the bed and bath warehouse, are also welcome. The WELL provided services to 804 persons during the first two months of 2003.

Our music day with the high school students was a huge success. The church rocked with the great sounds from the children’s kazoos and shakers. Thanks to Chris Smith and Karen Mitchell for sharing their talents with our preschoolers.
Our trip to the fire station was a big hit. There is nothing like sitting in the cab of the fire truck and blowing the siren! (Hold your ears)
